Senior Developer (1998-Present)

Yankee Book Peddler, Contoocook, NH. Writing objects, controls, UI in a three tiered COM, DCOM environment. Working with VB6, Oracle, Access.

Application Development Consultant (1997-1998)

Extensive work with VB5, Access, and MS SQL Server, Sybase. Utilized all database access methods, i.e. DAO, RDO, ODBC API. Developed applications involving large databases, three tiered architecture, activeX, and Crystal API. Worked in manufacturing (Gillette), insurance NMRRG), and investment management (Skudder).

Senior Manufacturing Programmer Analyst (1992-1996)

Gillette, Andover MA. Part of a three man operations, development, and support team. We utilized multiple operating systems and protocols, developed many client server applications, wrote Internet and Intranet UI's. Participated in all aspects of design and management.

Consultant (1991-1992)

Designed and implemented complete network system for United Way of Greater Manchester. Designed and programmed two complete Visual basic systems for the Gillette Company, Andover, Ma. Subcontracted in music production. I also did private tutoring.

Advisory Systems Engineer, IBM (1981-1991)

Engineering workstation specialist (IBM RS/6000 UNIX, TCP/IP). Managed statewide technical support. Specialist for Series/1 mini. Headed national development project with American International Group (insurance). Consulted in highly successful international project with Chase Manhattan Bank. This system was in worldwide operation for approximately 10 years.

Complete curriculum development and delivery of technical, personal development, and management courses. Authored self study manuals

Systems Engineer, IBM (1970-1975)

Marketing and customer support, general business and event driven real time systems. Designed, programmed closed loop control systems at GAF, Schaefer brewery, Pfizer Chemical, New Jersey Zinc.
